GAS SAVER PRO
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
All
Distributor Ignitions:
Install one Gas
Saver Pro unit on each of the spark plug wires as close to the
distributor as possible. The arrow on the unit MUST face toward the
spark plug. Be sure that the unit is tightly closed so that there
is no slippage of the unit on the spark plug wire.

installed on 97 Plymouth Breeze |
Distributor-Less Ignitions:
-
Install each
Gas Saver Pro over the wires that connect to the individual
coils, attaching the unit near to the connector (see picture)
-
Determine
where on the wire the Gas Saver Pro unit will fit without
interfering with the positioning of the wires.
-
Cut back any
tape or other protecting shielding from the wires (DO NOT CUT
THE INSULATION FROM THE INDIVIDUAL WIRES). Remove ONLY enough
shielding so that the unit will fit over the exposed wires.
-
Install the
unit over ALL of the exposed wires. Hold the unit tightly with
the wires inserted and make sure there is no movement. Unit
should be tight over the wires. On systems with less than 4
wires, it may be necessary to cut a 1 inch length of electric
copper wire to act as a “filler” to insure that the unit fits
tightly without movement when secured.
-
Arrow on unit
MUST face the coil and spark plug.

On Ford V-8
engines:
If there is one
coil wire set that has only 2 wires, on this cylinder capture only
the RED wire, and use “filler” as described above. All other
cylinders: capture ALL the wires inside of the Gas Saver Pro unit.
